For Mother's Day, my son's father ordered me a little something from Sephora and it just arrived in the mail! I have been waiting all week for this so I was super excited to open the box. There were a few goodies in there but I am going to post about the NARSissist Blush, Contour and Lip Palette first!
This NARS palette is a great compact for cheek fanatics. (I myself have been much more into contouring and pretty blushes lately!) You don't typically find palettes that focus purely on face and lips as much as you see with eyes so this is a nice little treat.
This palette would definitely be great for travel, all the powders you need for your face in one spot and 3 different blushes to choose from!
The lid of this palette is mirrored, which is wonderful if you want to check your makeup without opening the compact, but there is also a mirror on the inside of the lid for when you are using the products :). When you open up the lid the first the products you see are the blushes and a gloss.

Left to right: Enrapture, Enthralled and Roman Holiday |
NARS Blush shades are very pigmented and very true to how they look in the palette. The first and third shades (Enrapture and Roman Holiday) are matte finish, but the colour in the middle has fine gold glitter in it.

NARS Istria Lipgloss |
The lip gloss enclosed is in the shade Istria, it is a cute mini 4ml bottle, great for travel. Istria is a very sheer baby pink with a high gloss finish.
Now if you lift up the blusher layer you reveal a highlighter and bronzing powder.
The Highlighter:
- the highlighter is called Albatros, it looked beautiful when I swatched it on my skin but was quite hard to see, which isn't a bad thing for a highlight shade!
The Bronzer:
- the bronzer is Laguna, which I owned a couple years ago and loved it back then, just not crazy about the price of the full sized product so I didn't want to purchase again any time soon. I am glad it came in this cute little compact. It is a soft golden bronzer with a little golden glitter in the pigment. I know this shade doesn't work well with fair skin tones from the experience of a "friend", at whose house I had left this and she later posted a terribly bronzed selfie on Facebook, so I'm afraid if you are very fair this will not be the shade for you...unless you want to look like a copper penny.
I think this palette is going to be great for the summer, as I am a little pale now but the shades will work great as my skin tone changes in the sun!
