Sephora Favorites "GIVE ME MORE LIP" Ultimate Lip Sampler Review and Swatches!

Hello There Lovies!!!

Today, I have a pretty exciting post for you all, I finally have had time to take some photos and actually try out all these great products in the Give Me More Lip Ultimate Lip Sampler from Sephora. I have a really gotten into trying new lipsticks and glosses recently, so when I saw this at Sephora, I had to get it!

This kit is valued at $72 CDN (I think it is $59 USD). It consists of 16 products, all varying in size and shade. The products are split into 4 categories, consisting of 4 products per category; the reds, the pinks, the nudes and the berries/plum shades.

THE REDS

 This is the Kat Von D Foiled Love Lipstick in Adora. It is very pigmented, but I'm not so sure about the colour, it seems almost burnt orange and quite frosty. It did glide on very nicely and is well formulated. It just seemed a bit glitter-y for my taste!

This is one of the best products in the whole kit! It is the Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in the shade ICON. It is a gorgeous lip colour/stain and lasts a very, very long time! It goes on shiny then dries to a matte finish. It is a really deep red shade, and is absolutely stunning on the lips! I definitely loved this product. 

This third swatch is the Makeup For Ever Rouge Artist Natural in N45. I was kind of disappointed with this lipstick. It was definitely deceiving, it looks like a great, matte red lipstick, but it came out very sheer, and I had to do a double layer swatch to get its full potential. The formulation seems nice though, moisturizing but definitely not long lasting. 

This is the first time I have ever tried a product by Bite Beauty, this is the High Pigment Pencil in Pomegranate. I definitely got a good first impression with this product - high pigment, beautiful deep red colour. I absolutely love lip pencils too, so I was very happy to find one in this kit! I am very excited to experiment with this lip pencil. This pencil is a little more than half the size of the full size Bite Pencils. 

THE PINKS

Well we might as well start off with the star of this whole kit! I LOVE THIS LIPSTICK. This is the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Backstage Bambi. This shade is so bright, I am so in love! Not only is the colour payoff AMAZING, but its formulation...where do I begin? It dries amazingly, and goes quite matte, it may be a little drying but it doesn't move from your lips all day!

This one here is the Smashbox Lip Enhancing Lip Gloss in Pout. I actually own the Photo Finish Lipstick in Pout, and they are a perfect match for each other. I talk about Smashbox all the time, and love their products, especially their lipglosses! It's a light, blue based pink and such a nice gloss, it's great! This isn't a full size product but I know I will get lots of uses out of this!

This full sized TooFaced Lipstick in Marshmallow Bunny, is very true to colour, it is a little light but its a very pretty lipstick, and can be easily matched with so many things and skin tones I'm sure! I really really like this lipstick and I'm sure it will become a favourite!

The last pink is the bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Never Say Never. It is a gorgeous deep pink, similar in colour to the Kat Von D, not quite as blue toned but absolutely beautiful! The formulation is so silky, it feels amazing! This is also a full size product, gotta love that :)

THE BERRIES/PLUMS

The first berry shade is the Tarte Glamazon 12hr Lipstick in Inspired. It's a great neutral tone, and has a super smooth application! The lip colour lasts pretty well all day. My only negative comment on this product is the size of packaging for the amount of product, a little wasteful...I have about 1/3 of the product twisted up in the top left hand picture. 

This is a light swatch of the Obsessive Compulsive Lip Tar in Strumpet. If you're familiar with these, I'm sure you know how pigmented they are. I didn't even squeeze any product out, I just took a little of the residue on the tip and that was just enough product to swatch! It is such beautiful purpley berry colour, I feel that this product will last me a very long time. 

 Next is the Buxom Full Bodies Lipstick in Menace. It is a deep, rich berry colour - great for the fall and winter! It is a very pigmented lipstick that glides on smoothly and lasts throughout the day.

Finally, for the berries is this Stila Color Balm Lipstick in the shade Sonya. I love this lipstick, it is very similar to my lip colour, and it feels amazing. It is definitely a balm type lipstick that tingles a little! I find that berry shades go great with my skin tone (medium beige) but also so many other skin tones aswell. 

THE NUDES

The first of the nudes is the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lip Colour in Dolce. This product swatched beautifully. The formula seems great, and I bet it is long lasting. Unfortunately, I'm not really a fan of the shade, a little too on the brown side for me. I may be able to play with it and hopefully find a shade I could layer it with or something. 

This gloss is the Buxom Lip Cream in White Russian. I know this is a cult favourite, and a beautiful pinky toned nude. It gives your lips just the right amount of shine and colour!

I love the scent of this Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Bare Naked, it just makes me want to eat it all up! This is a great gloss with just the right amount of colour and shine. It is a perfect neutral shade that can be worn with pretty much anything!

Finally, we have the Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick in Nylon Nude. This is a perfect nude shade. not too pink, not too brown. It is a perfect neutral colour and goes with everything. It is a gorgeous lipstick!
